  1. Hello, Lynne.
I thought you might be interested to know that I am about to publish a book “Convict & Free: the Master Furniture-makers of NSW 1788-1851”. It contains a short biography of James Curtis (1804–1882) and his career. If you are interested, please reply for more details.

    Kind regards. David Kelly

    1. My apologies for taking so long to reply David. I have been seriously ill and have fallen behind. I am very interested in your book and would love to have more details. Do feel free to post any links that you would like as well. Yours lYnne

  2. Hello Lynn, my name is Kerrie Smith nee Panton. I would like to congratulate you on your site. A lot of work and a credit to you. I also had family on the Macleay Cornelius Christian & wife Harriet Hollebone on my Mum’s side. My line is from a daughter Charlotte. on my Dad’s side is Pantons who owned ‘Warbro’ at Willarwarrin. Also a greatx2 grandfather David Simpson kirkwood was the engineer of the goal. Funny how life can be, my husband comes from Coff’s and all the trips up there I would say I liked Kempsey, He thought I was mad! now I know why, I had soo many descendants around the area. We have been going to South West Rocks for 33years, now we have our third generation going as well. Once again I can appreciate your site, well done,
    Cheers Kerrie

  3. Hi Lynn, I am tracing existing family and wondered if you anything of a Sylvia Elsie Sanders whose father, FW Sanders lived in Perth, WA? She married Norman Price, then Craig Larsson. Might have gone back to Adelaide in 1960s then returned to WA. Many thanks, R.Frame, Hobart
