    Could you tell me about James Bell, his crime, trial, who he was convict with … my gg grandfather was Campbell Roy, from Gallows Gate Glasgow, Scotland, he was tried with a James Bell & another person ( I haven’t got my notes at the moment) Campbell Roy was transported for life, they broke into a house & stole clothing etc Campbell was born 1808, 1820 something he was transported to Van Demons Land, he ended up in Beauford in Vic but his son Timothy Charles Roy, came to Dungog area 1840 something just wondering if it is the same James Bell who was convicted with him … Small world if it is
